About Us

Hi there, I’m Nitin, the hands and heart behind Maple Hills Soapworks, based in Maple Hills, New Brunswick. I began making soap out of a desire for something more honest: a bar you can trust to be gentle, natural, and kind to your skin and the environment.

Every decision begins with respect; for the planet, for your skin. I choose to stay palm oil free because rainforest deforestation is something I take seriously, and I prefer not to rely on distant “sustainability” claims that are hard to verify.

We work with food-grade oils and butters, and when scent is used, it’s only from pure essential oils. Our soaps are naturally coloured with plant-based ingredients or natural clays. I never use artificial colourants, fragrances, micas, or titanium dioxide. Just clean, simple ingredients that perform beautifully on their own.

Each bar is handmade, hand-cut, and wrapped in eco-friendly paper packaging. I also take extra care with unscented soaps, using sterilized, separate equipment so you can trust that every bar is truly fragrance-free.
